Svaroopa Yoga uses precise alignment and support (through the use of props: blocks, pads, blankets) to access the deepest tensions in your body. These tightest areas are the muscles around the spine, and result in unnecessary illness, injury, and general discomfort. Each class leads you through a series of poses that unlock and release these deepest tensions, starting from the tailbone and working all the way up the spine. The practice is gentle and the results are profound. These deceptively simple poses and movements reliably open you, body and mind, and lead you to a deeper experience of Self.
