Living Life in and Easy and Open Spine
Explore the Deepest Backbending Angles and a New Approach to Standing, Walking, and Being in Your Life.
These challenging and fun angles will help with lower spinal release, while teaching you how to find and stand in your own truth, stay centered and grounded in it, and more importantly, you will 'move the other way.' We live our lives in Forward Bends, and we get shorter and weaker and time progresses. The Backbending Angles are the most important direction of movement in yoga and your life.
You will explore many propless poses, including Shavasana, while you learn to stand, move and walk in a manner that allows you to keep an easy and open spine. These changes in your body will then flow into other aspects of your life, where you will find more ease and openess everywhere you look!
You will learn variations on Half Frog, Cobra, Advanced Abdominals, and more as you find yourself getting Taller, Stronger and more Flexible in your body and your life! We will also delve into the teachings of the Shiva Sutras in this series.
Anyone with a least 1 year of Svaroopa(r) experience, and a regular home practice, is welcome to join us.
